All content, including AI-generated responses, is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, academic, immigration, or professional advice. We do not guarantee admission, scholarships, financial aid awards, visa approvals, or academic outcomes.

2. Research Integrity, AI Systems, & Data Limits

Univa utilizes evidence-based datasets and academic research to inform its AI-generated responses. However, by using the Platform, you understand and agree to the following:

  • Dynamic Information: Research data is subject to change based on institutional updates. A "Research-driven" designation does not imply a guarantee of real-time synchronization with every university’s internal database or evolving policies.
  • AI-Generated Content: Responses are produced by automated artificial intelligence systems. While grounded in our research, content may still contain errors, omissions, or outdated information (commonly referred to as "hallucinations").

  • Geography: Univa is designed and intended for use by residents of the United States only.
  • Security: Do not share highly sensitive identifiers (like Social Security Numbers) within the chat interface.

8. Intellectual Property & Ownership

All content and materials available on the Platform—including but not limited to the Univa name, trademarked logos, original graphics, and the proprietary 7-level "Academic Guidelines"—are the exclusive intellectual property of Univa. Furthermore, the specialized "Academy Premium" visual designs, "Glassmorphic" interface layouts, and the structured logic and data synthesized within the Univa Research Handbook are protected proprietary assets of the company.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access this content for personal, non-commercial educational use only. You strictly agree not to:

  • Copy or Redistribute: Reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works of our content, counseling frameworks, or synthesized preparation plans.
  • Harvest or Scrape: Use any automated systems, "bots," spiders, or scraping tools to extract data, guidelines, or research materials from the Platform.
  • AI Training Prohibited: Utilize Univa’s proprietary guidelines, research datasets, or chat histories to train, fine-tune, or inform any competing artificial intelligence models or machine learning services.
  • Brand Infringement: Reproduce the Univa brand identity or UI elements in any manner that suggests an unauthorized affiliation or endorsement.

Any unauthorized use or "scraping" of these materials constitutes a violation of intellectual property laws and will result in immediate account termination and legal action.

9. Right to Terminate & Acceptable Use

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for the misuse of our AI counseling tools. Univa reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to immediately suspend or terminate any user account without prior notice if we determine a user has:

  • Attempted to "hack," bypass, or manipulate the AI chatbot's safety filters or underlying logic.
  • Used the Platform for non-educational purposes or to generate prohibited content.
  • Engaged in activities that disrupt the service for other students.
  • Provided false or fraudulent information during the registration process.

10. Service Availability

While we strive to provide "anytime" access to the AI Counselor, Univa does not guarantee 100% uptime. Periodic maintenance, server updates (via InMotion Hosting), or third-party outages (via Google or Cloudflare) may temporarily interrupt service.

11. Notice at Collection

Univa collects personal information to provide you with high-fidelity, research-backed academic advising. By creating an account, we collect the following categories of information: Identifiers (your first and last name, email address, and IP address), Education Information (your current academic level and preliminary questionnaire responses), and General Geolocation data (your zip code).

Purpose of Collection:

We use this data for the following "Relationship" and service-critical purposes:
